Panam Sports approves funding to strengthen PanAm Squash ahead of Lima 2027 and LA28

PanAm Squash is pleased to announce an important step forward in the continued professionalization and development of the Federation across the Americas.

Panam Sports has approved PanAm Squash’s application for financial assistance under its Technical and Administrative Strengthening Program, providing new resources that will allow the Federation to expand its administrative and communications capacity at a pivotal moment for the sport.

The approved funding will support the recruitment of a full-time General Manager and a Media Agency, two strategic additions designed to strengthen PanAm Squash’s daily operations, governance, communications, championship delivery and services to its Member Federations.

The investment comes as squash enters one of the most significant periods in its history in the Americas, with the Lima 2027 Pan American Games on the horizon and the sport preparing to make its historic Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

These new resources will also help PanAm Squash increase the visibility of its athletes, national federations, championships and development programs throughout the continent.

PanAm Squash is extremely grateful to Panam Sports for its confidence in the Federation and its investment in the future of squash across the Americas.

As part of this new stage, PanAm Squash has officially opened applications for the following two positions.
