December 1st, 2021- On the final day of squash competition in Cali, Colombia at the 1st Youth Pan American Games MEXICO cemented its squash dominance by capturing its 4th gold medal by wining the Men’s Team Event. Team Mexico’s Leonel Cardenas, Daniel Vargas, Sebastian Salazar defeated the silver medalists COLOMBIA’s Matias Knudsen, Juan Torres & Nicolas Serna 2-0.
Bronze- Argentina’s Jeremias Azana, Miguel Pujol & Lisandro Ortiz & Brazil’s Yuri Pollak, Gabriel Pederiva & Rhuan Sousa
USA captured its 2nd gold, winning the Women’s Team Event and proving its dominance in women’s squash in Panamerica. Team USA’s Marina Stefanoni, Serena Daniel & Lucie Stefanoni walked away with the gold medal 3-0 over silver medalists MEXICO’s Dina Anguiano, Fabiola Cabello & Paola Franco.
