NEVEN ILIC RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT OF PANAM SPORTS

Asuncion, October 2, 2024 – On the first day of the LXII General Assembly of Panam Sports, the election for the President for 2024 to 2028 was held.

Both FPS President Sergio Becerra and FPS Vice President Esteban Casarino were in attendance and took the opportunity to talk about squash’s new bright future with IOC President Thomas Bach.

By 5:00 po. the voting was complete and current President of Panam Sports, Neven Ilic, remained victorious defeating  his opponent Vice President Keith Joseph by 2/3 of the votes. Neven Ilic will have the mission of leading Panam Sports for the next 4 years in his third consecutive term in the Organization.

“I want to thank all those who supported me, for allowing me to finish this project. These elections are over and I can say that we are a great group. Everyone is part of this project. Of course, I thank my friend Keith Joseph. We will continue working so that the Americas remain a stellar continent,” said Panam Sports President Neven Ilic at the end of the vote.Also elected were the new members of the Executive Board Vice-Presidents Camilo Perez (Paraguay), Sarah Hirshland (USA) and Veda Bruno Victor (Grenada)
