Huge shout-out to Richard Starkley and Percy Rhoden of Meridian Construction, who took a tremendous leap of faith in sponsoring the 2025 MERIDIAN PAN AMERICAN MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS, held November 13–16 in the idyllic setting of the Tortola Sports Club in the British Virgin Islands.
This was PANAM SQUASH’s first-ever Masters Championships, and thanks to the persistence and dedication of Tortola Sports Club Squash Professional and Championship Chair Adam Murrills, the inaugural event was an overwhelming success.

Meridian Construction, a prominent construction firm specializing in major civil and marine engineering projects, has proudly hosted its own annual Masters tournament in Tortola every November for over 30 years. This year, PANAM SQUASH had the privilege of building on its rich legacy and unforgettable traditions, including the beloved Saturday Night BBQ and the legendary 8-hour Sunday awards boat cruise.
As the entourage sailed through the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, the vibe was electric; non-stop drinks flowing, Soca music blasting, and everybody jiving to the hypnotic rhythm. Highlights included a 5-star feast on Norman Island, followed by a stopover to the Cooper Island’s Rum Bar, daring jumps off the top deck of an old pirate ship, including rowdy sing-alongs with the feisty and hilarious Guatemala contingent.
An unforgettable kickoff to what promises to become some incredible Pan American Masters traditions.
CONGRATULATIONS to the inaugural PAN AMERICA’S MASTERS CHAMPIONS!
