October 6, 2025 – Sergio Becerra, President of the Federación Panamericana de Squash (PANAM SQUASH), has officially signed a four-year partnership with UK-based SquashLevels, a global leader in performance rating systems and part of LevelTech, to introduce a comprehensive, data-driven ratings platform for squash athletes across North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean.
This landmark agreement will transform how squash competitions across the continent are seeded and evaluated. The new Pan American Squash Ratings will be an integration of results from PANAM SQUASH member nations and all Pan American Squash championships starting in the new year, ensuring a transparent, consistent, and fair seeding process across all categories – including Juniors, U23, Open, Masters, and Squash57.
Players from all member nations can now benefit from real-time performance tracking, enabling them to monitor progress and compare ratings both regionally and globally, through a system recognized and endorsed by World Squash.
Lolly Gillen, Secretary General of PANAM SQUASH and Chair of the World Squash Squash57 Commission, commented:
“This partnership marks a pivotal moment for squash throughout the Pan American region. For the first time, players at every level – from club to world stage – can be part of a globally recognized, independent ratings system. It’s a massive leap forward in our athlete-centric commitment and strengthens our ability to seed events with integrity, complete fairness and objectivity.”
Sergio Becerra, President of PANAM SQUASH, added:
“Unifying our competitive data across the region is critical as we build toward LA 2028 and beyond. Every athlete deserves fair recognition and access to accurate rankings. This partnership helps raise the level of play across all nations, giving everyone a clearer path to excellence.”
Jethro Binns, Co-CEO of LevelTech (SquashLevels), said:
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with PANAM SQUASH to build a truly continental rating network. Beyond accurate rankings, we’re working to support local participation by introducing federation-endorsed box leagues, so players who may not travel can still compete meaningfully. This is about inclusivity, connectivity, and modernizing the game through data.”
SquashLevels will work closely with PANAM SQUASH and its member federations to integrate match results via Tournament Software or any other approved platforms. A dedicated, white-labelled ratings portal under the PANAM SQUASH brand will soon launch, housing both continental and national ratings for all age groups and categories.
This collaboration marks a major step forward in modernizing squash competition in the region by replacing outdated, subjective seeding systems with a proven algorithm-based model already trusted by leading squash nations.
