Pan America’s Hollie Naughton makes Commonwealth Games History!

Canada’s Hollie Naughton (World #20) seeded ⅝ just pulled off the improbably by defeating the #1 seed Joelle King (World #5) of New Zealand  7-11, 11-3, 11-8, 11-1 in the semi finals to become the first Canadian woman ever to reach the finals of a Commonwealth Games.

Hollie will now play the winner of the 3/4 Gina Kennedy (World #8) of England who just defeated her compatriot #2 seed Sarah-Jane Perry of England (World #6) 8-11, 11-8, 11-5, 14-12
