Congratulations to World #100 Leandro Romiglio the 2022 Atlanta Open 6th seed on his terrific run to the finals. Fresh off his victories at the 2022 Pan American Squash Championships and the Val de Reuil Normandie, Romiglio defeated #4th seed Ronald Palomino of Colombia in the 1/4s and then #8th seed Josue Enriquez from Guatemala (who had a great win over the #2 seed Christopher Gordon of USA) before earning his berth in the final. Up 10-9 in the 5th against the #1 seed Abdulla Tamini and current World#54, Romiglio lost in the heartbreaker (9-11) 11-8 (10-12) 11-6, 13-11. Great performance by Romiglio!
