COLOMBIA FINISHES 6th AT PRESTIGIOUS WORLD CUP IN INDIA

The Team of Catalina Peláez, Laura Tovar , Alfonso Marroquín, Felipe Tovar and coach Martin Knight travelled have way around the world to Chennai, India after 7 gruelling days of competition at the Pan American Squash Championships in Cartagena.

 In the 5-6 place playoff, #5 seed Australia came from behind to beat Colombia and finish 5th.  Despite the defeat, Colombia, seeded 8th,  finished with a very impressive 6th-place finish.

 Egypt have been crowned the SDAT WSF Squash World Cup Champions after coming from behind to beat Malaysia in front of a capacity crowd in Chennai’s Express Avenue Mall

This was the 4th addition of the World Team Championships which hadn’t been played in 12 years. This year the event was gender balance with 2 female and 2 male players.
