Costa RIca’s Federación Costarricense de Squash (FECOSQUASH), joined the FPS earlier this week.
“It is an honor to be part of this Federation and we will do everything possible to promote Squash in Costa Rica and the region.” stated Fernando Carazo, President of the Federación Costarricense de Squash.
COSTA RICA is home of the prestigious SACC COSTA RICA SQUASH OPEN. The SACC is an annual squash tournament held by Santa Ana Country Club, Costa Rica in partnership with Professional Squash Association (PSA). SACC strives to promote squash growth and encourage sport participation. They are committed to sport development in Central America and in ensuring that squash is played in a fair, open and inclusive manner.
The SACC Costa Rica Open PSA tournament dates back to 2010 and features great men and women professionals from all over the world. The 2022 Champions include Guatemala’s Josue Enriquez and Colombia’s Laura Tovar.
This year’s event kicks of on November 8th, 2023 at the Santa Ana Country Club in San Jose.
