Santiago Shines as XXI Pan Am Junior Squash Championship Host!!

Under the leadership of Cristian Parada, the Federación Chilena de Squash elevated the experience of hosting the XXI Pan Am Junior Squash Championships to new heights during the week of June 29 – July 5, 2025.

Set in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Santiago, the event provided a seamless and enjoyable experience for all delegations. The convenience of Santiago’s fast and efficient metro system allowed athletes and officials to travel effortlessly between their hotels and the competition venue—offering a level of freedom rarely experienced at international events.

The Racquet Sports Center at the National Stadium Park, which proudly served as a venue for the 2023 Pan American Games, is truly world-class—offering top-tier  squash courts and amenities that set the stage for an unforgettable week of competition.

This year’s championship welcomed a record 91 top junior athletes from 13 nations: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and the United States—an increase of 18 participants from the previous year, marking continued growth and enthusiasm for junior squash in the region.

The event’s flawless execution was made possible thanks to the extensive experience and professionalism of Technical Director Leonardo Arozena and Championship Referee Ramiro Arozenza, whose dedication ensured a smooth and successful tournament.
