The squash community of the Americas will be strongly represented at the 2026 WSF World Masters Championships, taking place in Perth, Western Australia, from August 30 to September 6, 2026.
A total of 83 players from nine Pan American countries and territories are entered in this year’s championship, bringing together experienced competitors from across our continent for one of the most important Masters events on the international squash calendar.
The World Masters Championships are World Squash’s flagship Masters competition, featuring players aged 35 and over across multiple age categories. The 2026 edition returns the event to Australia, a country with a deep Masters squash tradition and a long history of success at this level.
Eight Days of World-Class Masters Squash in Perth
Competition begins on Sunday, August 30, with match play continuing throughout the week before the quarterfinals on September 4, semifinals on September 5 and finals on Sunday, September 6.
The tournament will conclude with the medal ceremony at Karrinyup Shopping Centre followed by the official closing function later that evening.
The championships will be played across three venues in Perth:
Squashworld Mirrabooka, featuring 14 courts; Belmont Squash Centre, with eight courts; and a spectacular all-glass show court at Karrinyup Shopping Centre.
Squash Takes Centre Stage at Karrinyup Shopping Centre
One of the most distinctive features of the 2026 World Masters will be the glass court installed inside Karrinyup Shopping Centre, one of Western Australia’s leading retail and lifestyle destinations.
The purpose-built all-glass court places squash directly in front of the wider public, transforming part of the shopping centre into an international sporting arena.
Karrinyup welcomes more than 13.4 million visitors annually and is home to more than 300 stores, making the venue a unique opportunity to showcase Masters squash beyond the traditional club environment. The glass court will also host the medal ceremony on the final day of competition.
For the athletes selected to compete on the show court, it will provide one of the most memorable stages of the championship.
83 Players Representing the Americas
PanAm Squash celebrates the participation of 83 players representing Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Guyana, Mexico, Peru and the United States.
Canada and the United States lead the continental representation, with 29 and 32 players respectively, while competitors from the Caribbean, Central and South America add to a diverse Pan American contingent in Perth.

A Championship Built Around Competition and Community
The WSF World Masters Championships are about more than winning world titles.
The competition provides Masters players from around the world with the opportunity to continue competing at the highest level while reconnecting with friends, building new relationships and celebrating a shared passion for squash.
The official program also includes an opening ceremony at Scarborough Amphitheatre, a player function during the tournament and a closing celebration following the finals.
The event also includes the Nations Cup, the team element of the World Masters Championships, adding another opportunity for players to represent their countries during the week.

Having 83 competitors from our continent travel to Australia reflects the strength and longevity of the Masters squash community throughout the Americas.
From Barbados to Brazil, Canada to Chile, Guyana to Mexico, Peru to the United States and the Cayman Islands, our athletes will carry the Pan American squash community onto the world stage.
