The XXII Pan American U19 Squash Championship concluded after an unforgettable week of competition in San Salvador, El Salvador, where the Círculo Deportivo Internacional hosted the continent’s best junior squash players from June 28 to July 4, 2026. A total of 14 nations competed across singles, doubles, team, and parallel events, showcasing the remarkable depth and future of Pan American squash.
The United States finished as the overall medal table champion, collecting medals across nearly every discipline and reaffirming its strength in junior squash. However, one of the tournament’s defining moments belonged to Paraguay’s Fiorella Gatti, who etched her name into Pan American squash history.
A historic achievement for Fiorella Gatti
With her victory in the Girls’ Singles Championship, Fiorella Gatti became the first player in the history of the Pan American Junior Squash Championships to win three individual Pan American titles, cementing her place among the greatest junior players ever produced in the Americas.
